The Intercontinental Championship title scene got a lot more interesting last night on Monday Night Raw. The feud between The Miz and Cesaro wasn’t enough because the intense feud of Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn has entered the picture.

It’s not confirmed, but it seems like WWE is headed to a fatal four way for the IC title at “Extreme Rules.” All four men are solid choices to be the Intercontinental Champion, but one man can use it just a little bit more.

If WWE is setting us up for a fatal four-way match, Sami Zayn should win the Intercontinental Championship at “Extreme Rules.” He’s in huge need of a big win on the main roster, especially after losing to Kevin Owens clean at “Payback.” Zayn becoming the IC Champion would be the best choice out of that situation because it does more for his character than it would for anyone else.

The Miz is a very good heel, but this is his fifth IC title reign. He doesn’t need the title to be an effective heel, especially with Maryse by his side.

Cesaro could definitely use the IC title, but did you see the reaction and amount of “Cesaro Section” signs at “Payback?” He’ll be just fine waiting for awhile feuding with other guys.

Kevin Owens just came off his second IC title reign. He doesn’t need it either, but his feud with Zayn certainly does. Owens just beat Zayn clean at “Payback” and proved that he was better. Then a few weeks later, Zayn takes “his” Intercontinental Championship by pinning someone else?

Owens vs. Zayn would get a huge boost after a great match on PPV. Sami Zayn would get a huge boost as a face and foil to KO, and Owens would have great motivation as a heel to keep the feud with Zayn going.

Do you think Sami Zayn should win the Intercontinental Championship?
