The WWE Universe has been very harsh on The Bella Twins since their return to WWE programming. In particular, Brie Bella has received some criticism for her in-ring work, but Nikki Bella has mostly steered clear of the backlash. Some people are unhappy with the rumor of Nikki challenging Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Title at ‘Evolution.’

Despite those rumors, Bella vs. Rousey has not been confirmed. In fact, The Bella Twins have been supporting Ronda on Raw over the past month. At WWE’s Super Show-Down this Saturday, all three women will team up to face The Riott Squad. Although the faces may be winning the match, it’s being said a big heel turn will take place after the match.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Bella Twins are expected to attack Ronda Rousey after the match to set up Nikki vs. Ronda at ‘WWE Evolution.’ The turn is not going to be a surprise to most people. It seems WWE officials want to use the event to promote the rivalry and appeal to casual viewers who know the Bellas and Rousey.

On paper, The Bella Twins vs. Ronda Rousey is a perfect headliner for the first women’s PPV in WWE history. The WWE Universe may not appreciate the match, especially if it’s the main event of the show. However, it’s difficult to argue with the marketing strategy to help ensure ‘Evolution’ is as big as possible. Bella vs. Rousey is an attention grabber.

Despite the feud not appealing to many fans, it’s unlikely Ronda loses the Raw Women’s Championship to Nikki at the event. Nikki Bella’s neck is still an issue and it her recent run on WWE television seems to be for this one purpose. After ‘Evolution,’ there hasn’t been any indication The Bella Twins will continue their run on WWE television in 2018.
