Last night, it was reported that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins could have suffered an injury last night in a match with Kane at a WWE live event in Dublin.

To review the situation, Rollins was performing a Sunset Flip on Kane that was intended to go through a table. When Rollins flipped over, he lost his footing, his leg gave out, and there was a botch.

Something was clearly wrong with the way Rollins landed on his leg. To his credit, Seth performed the spot and finished the match: The following video shows the potential injury and finish:

There is now an update on Rollins condition since last night. The word going around backstage is that Rollins tweaked his knee. This is not unusual to happen in the ring once in awhile.

According to PWInsider.com, a source within WWE believes this is just an in-ring accident that happens and the Champ would likely tape-up and work the rest of the tour. Rollins has obviously had his leg checked out by WWE doctors.

There will likely be a much better idea of Seth Rollins’ status over the next several hours, but no later than a few days. If Rollins’ injury keeps him out for weeks, this puts the main event of “Survivor Series” and Rollins’ title reign in jeopardy.
