After this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Trish Stratus and Lita will team to face Alexa Bliss and Mickie James at WWE Evolution. WWE officials advertised Trish versus Alexa and Lita vs. Mickie to sell tickets for the event. However, the tag team match was always the real plan because WWE officials have big plans for Lita and Trish afterward.

According to a report from PWInsider Elite, the two WWE Hall of Famers will continue to tag together for more events after Evolution. It seems the duo could be featured in a new feud for Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, or even WrestleMania 35. WWE has been heavily relying on legends recently. Lita and Trish are at the top of the list for women.

On paper, Trish and Lita working as a tag team may create some exciting scenarios. For instance, a feud with Bayley and Sasha Banks could be great. The Bella Twins, The Riott Squad, and The IIconics could all be strong rivalries. Some people would prefer singles matches over tag team bouts, but many of those matches would be really fun to watch.

The door is open for numerous singles matches as well. The problem there is Trish and Lita may not be up for wrestling that many matches. Tag team matches are dramatically easier, especially for part-time performers. The WWE Universe would rather have some Stratisfaction than none and Lita has already expressed interest in an extended run.

As long as WWE officials are focused on elevating the division with Trish and Lita, the entire division should benefit from their involvement. Based on this week’s reception, the WWE Universe wouldn’t mind seeing Trish Stratus and Lita for a few more matches.

How do you feel about having Lita and Trish back on WWE television?
