Earlier this week, it was reported by F4WOnline.com that Kevin Owens tweaked his knee during a WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend. The belief was that the injury was an MCL sprain,. However, Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Kevin Owens will be part of the Survivor Series WarGames match.

CageSideSeats reported this morning that Owens is rehabbing his knee at the WWE Performance Center and was consulted by WWE doctors on Monday. The report also details that the former WWE Universal Champion is still traveling with WWE and his status for tonight’s SmackDown and other shows is unknown.

PWInsider is also claiming that Kevin Owens is scheduled for SmackDown for tonight and next week before Survivor Series. With the physical demands of a WarGames match, which he’s undoubtedly familiar, it’s unlikely that WWE officials will have him wrestling on the show. He’ll most likely be doing promo segments and maybe a scuffle leading to the PPV.

Owens also comes into the situation as an odd man out because he hasn’t been feuding with The Bloodline for some time. He’s been working with Austin Theory, who has just undergone a significant character shift. It’s unclear who Owens is working with for the rest of 2022.

What do you think Kevin Owens should be doing for his next feud heading into 2023?

Kevin Owens will join forces with Drew McIntyre and The Brawling Brutes at Survivor Series WarGames to face The Bloodline. His experience in the WarGames match will shine through on Nov. 26th. There’s a good chance that Owens will be the one to jump off the cage. In the old words of Mick Foley, “he could never jump very high, so he decided to jump off of high things.”
