With all due respect, Jack Swagger hasn’t been relevant to the WWE product for quite some time now.

Over the last two years, he’s been featured on Main Event or SmackDown. Last November, he challenged Alberto Del Rio for the United States Championship in a losing effort and has been treading water ever since.

The last few years of his career have been a shame because the “All-American American” has had a very successful WWE career on paper. In his career, he’s been a United States Champion,

In his career, he’s been a United States Champion, an ECW Champion, the 2010 winner of the Money in the Bank briefcase, and a WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Jack Swagger was never a top guy in WWE, but he was a very good wrestler who became accomplished over several years of work. It’s now coming to light that his run in WWE may be coming to an end.

Swagger posted the following on Twitter claiming that today is his “last day”:

“.. Best Job I ever had. Last day

There is no confirmation about what Jack Swagger will be doing next in this industry or if he is retiring from pro wrestling entirely, but if this is really his “last day”, he will be considered by many to be an underutilized and undervalued talent in WWE for many years.
