Last week had a few crazy days and rumors about The Hulkster potentially returning to WWE for Wrestlemania 32 in April. Those rumors turned out to be inaccurate, but it revealed a lot of support for Hulk Hogan to be forgiven and return to WWE when the time is right.

Triple H has stated in the past that he hopes to welcome back Hogan in the future, but the issues of Hogan’s personal life are just too much for a company like WWE to handle right now.

That goes deeper than the racial slurs issue, which is a complicated situation by itself, but Hulk’s issues with Gawker and that lawsuit are probably holding back his return more than anything. It’s unlikely that WWE would even think about allowing Hogan into the good graces of the company until that issue is resolved.

According to TampaBay.com, the latest update on that lawsuit is Hulk Hogan is currently seeking a remarkable one-hundred million dollars in damages for the sex tapes released by Gawker.

Judge Pamela Campbell has recommended that both sides seek mediation instead of going to trial. If both sides cannot reach a settlement deal, the case will go to trial in March.
