Cesaro: “I Don’t Know When I’ll Be Back”

The last time we heard an update from The Swiss Superman, he underwent shoulder surgery on November 23rd and was doing rehab at the WWE Performance Center and in Birmingham, Alabama.

Cesaro recently spoke with Planeta Wrestling and NEOX TV Spain to promote WWE. You can read the full interview right here. Below are the highlights and the latest injury update from Cesaro himself:

How is he recovering from shoulder surgery?

My recovery is going really well, so I hope to be back soon, but I do not know when exactly, I have to wait for the doctor.

Who is his favorite to win the Royal Rumble?

The Royal Rumble is very difficult, because obviously there are 30 people, and there are many superstars in it. … I will say that whoever wins it will be a surprise. I do not think it’s going to be anyone to think that is a favorite, it will be a surprise. And who is going to steal the show at WrestleMania? Well, I do not know, it’s the beauty of WrestleMania, you have to wait and see who is fighting, who is going to give everything.

Unfortunately, there still isn’t a specific timetable for Cesaro’s return. But his progress is going very well and it seems as if he’ll be back before we know it.

It’s just a shame that he’ll be missing the “Royal Rumble” and Wrestlemania given how fantastic of a year he had in 2015. Luckily, both Stone Cold and Daniel Bryan have offered their advice for when he returns and how to capitalize on his momentum.
