It was reported a few hours before NXT Takeover: The End that Bobby Roode had been spotted heading into the WWE Performance Center before the show.

Honestly, he’s been rumored to appear at a lot of NXT events lately, so it’s understandable why some people would roll their eyes and say that they’ll believe it when they see it.

No one should have had an issue seeing Bobby Roode during a backstage segment with William Regal during NXT Takeover: The End last night.

Regal was doing a backstage interview and hyping the Steel Cage match between Finn Balor and Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship.

Meanwhile, Roode passes by behind him and catches Regal’s attention. Soon after, Regal excuses himself from the interview and enters an office that Roode has clearly just entered.

Admittedly, there have been many rumors about his status with NXT without much of solid information, but that’s because something is clearly developing if NXT is willing to feature him on two straight Takeover specials.

Make no mistake; we have very little information. However, we have more than enough to know that Bobby Roode is coming to NXT sooner rather than later.

Do you want to see Bobby Roode go after Samoa Joe and the NXT Championship?
