Bobby Roode Makes Shocking Debut During NXT Live Event

The NXT Universe started going nuts when the cameras showed Bobby Roode sitting in attendance at NXT Takeover: Dallas.

Earlier this week, William Regal was talking backstage during NXT Takeover: The End and Roode walked past him in a moment that made his debut in NXT inevitable.

However, NXT live events can be extremely unpredictable, and Bobby Roode made a shocking debut during the Download Festival in England.

Roode would go on to get a victory over Angelo Dawkins, but the important thing is that he’s officially debuted in NXT, and his brief appearances at the previous two Takeovers are a clear indication that he’ll debut on NXT programming shortly.

The only question is what Roode’s role will be in NXT. It was previously rumored that we could be heading for a feud between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura, so that could leave the door open for Roode to challenge Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship or feud with Austin Aries.
