Backstage News on Sasha Banks’ Wedding Not Being Mentioned By WWE

Last week, it was reported that the current WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks got married in a private ceremony, which broke the hearts of many people around the world.

The news came out of left field for a lot of the WWE Universe because The Boss’ personal life has been kept mostly out of the limelight, which is different than a lot of WWE Superstars have handled that part of their lives.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, there is a specific reason why WWE and Sasha Banks haven’t commented or made her wedding any more public than a few posts on Instagram.

Apparently, everyone involved is looking to stay clear of the drama that could develop from mixing the two radically different parts of her life together.

In a nutshell, WWE doesn’t want a repeat of what happened with Lana & Rusev’s engagement and wedding that has forced them to acknowledge their love on WWE programming.

The fact is that Lana and Rusev’s situation occurred because they’re both WWE performers and were so closely tied as characters, and Banks’ personal life isn’t as close to her persona on WWE TV.
