Finally, the Gawker lawsuit that has been hanging over Hulk Hogan’s head for a long time now, but the trail is over and the Immortal Hulkster has won the case.

In fact, many would actually call it an overwhelming victory. Today, the jury’s verdict sided with Hogan and awarded him a very large sum of money in the settlement.

The “WWE Hall of Famer” was awarded $115 million dollars collectively from the trial. He was given fifty-five million for economic struggles, and another sixty million dollars for his emotional distress.

Hogan first became aware of the sex tape released by Gawker in 2012 when the video was recorded by controversial longtime friend Bubba The Love Sponge and then stolen from him by “Spice Boy” Matt Lloyd.

Hogan first became aware of the leak in 2012 when he was still with TNA. The issue has been ongoing ever since and followed him during his return to WWE.

While he was judging “Tough Enough”, WWE released him due to a combination of his “racial comments” and the sex tape scandal with Gawker.

Now that Hogan is free of that lawsuit and won the case, it’s only a matter of time before WWE accepts Hogan back into their good graces and everything negative about him blows over.
