It’s a future. Bray Wyatt and the Fiend have taken the WWE by storm over the last few months with Wyatt winning his second World Title at Crown Jewel. As the Fiend, Wyatt is one of the most intimidating stars in recent history and has only been defeated by having the referee stop a match inside the Cell. With such a dominant performance, it is time for Wyatt to get a big name opponent, and if he makes it all the way to WrestleMania 36 as champion, we may know who he is facing.

Wyatt was brought over to the SmackDown brand in October’s WWE Draft. This caused a shakeup with the World Title situation as Wyatt won the Monday Night Raw Universal Title at Crown Jewel. The situation was solved as the title moved with Wyatt over to SmackDown. With the new show comes a host of new challengers and the question now becomes who will be the next person to come after Wyatt’s title. We may know two possibilities as we start the Road to WrestleMania.

The Fiend has been busy as of late. Check out what he has been up to since winning the title:

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Wyatt’s WrestleMania opponent may be one of two people. The first option is current WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, who is currently on Monday Night Raw, but something could be done to change the situation between now and WrestleMania. Other than that, the other option is Roman Reigns, who was forced to vacate the Universal Title due to his leukemia last year. There is no word on whether or not Wyatt will still be champion at WrestleMania.

Wyatt has history with Lesnar and Reigns. Check out some of their buildups:

Opinion: Either of those matches sound interesting, but I’d be worried about what might happen with Wyatt vs. Lesnar. There is a bad tendency for Lesnar to not exactly work well in matches against physically bigger talents and it is a possibility that things could go badly in a hurry. Then you have Reigns, who could be a solid opponent for Wyatt given their history together.
