You Go Over There: Two WWE Personalities Switching Brands

Talk to me? There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling show work, with several such people having nothing to do with the actual wrestling. You will get familiar with a lot of these people and it can make for an interesting situation when one of them changes. That is what we will be seeing this week as two WWE personalities will be switching jobs.

According to PWInsider.com, Monday Night Raw and SmackDown have swapped ring announcers. This will see Alicia Taylor becoming the Monday Night Raw ring announcer while Lilian Garcia moves to SmackDown, where she debuted this week. Garcia returned to WWE last year when Samantha Irvin left the company. There is no reason given for the change.

Opinion: This is the kind of change that might not seem overly important but it can be a big deal to have the right ring announcer. At the end of the day, the ring announcer is tasked with informing the fans what they are going to see and that is an important role. For now though, things are changing in a big way and hopefully everything falls into place as smoothly as it can.
