There was another. WWE has been running wrestling shows for decades now and have several locations that are more or less home bases for the company. As a result, there is quite a bit of history in those cities, especially when it comes to live events. Every so often something will happen at one of these events that goes beyond expectations and that appears to be the case again.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: ESPN Reveals Its 2023 Wrestling Award Winners

This week, WWE ran its usual post-Christmas live event in New York City at Madison Square Garden. On the same night, WWE ran another live event in Baltimore, Maryland. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, the event was the highest grossing non-televised WWE event in the history of the city. The show was headlined by LA Knight defeating Jimmy Uso in a street fight. The New York City show also set an all time record for the location.

Opinion: That is great to hear for WWE as the company continues to be on an absolute role. I’m not sure how long it is going to go on, but for the moment, WWE is as hot as it has been in a very long time now and this is another example of how well things are going. It should be interesting to see how long they can maintain their momentum, but for now, they are on a big roll, including in Baltimore.
