Yes Him: WWE Announces Surprising Inductee For Hall Of Fame

One more for the crowd. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout the history of the industry and several of them were not stars in WWE. That does not mean they were untalented though, and occasionally WWE will honor those wrestlers’ contributions to the sport. This is mainly done through an induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame and that is the case again this year.

WWE has announced Thunderbolt Patterson will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2024. Patterson primarily wrestled in various territories but did wrestle some matches for the then WWWF in 1969. His greatest successes came in Georgia and Texas before he eventually retired in 1994. There is no word on who will be inducting Patterson into the Hall Of Fame.

Opinion: This year’s class has been more than a bit odd and there are some very interesting picks in there. I’m not sure how many people had Patterson on their predictions list and that makes some picks more than a bit surprising. It should be a special moment when Patterson gets inducted, as he is someone who has not been around in a long time and deserves some praise for his career.
