That’s some timing. Injuries can lead to some major issues for any wrestling promotion, as they can change all of the plans a promotion might have set. The good thing though is that there are also special moments to be had when someone gets to come back after an absence. Now we might be getting ready to see that and it could be the perfect setup all around.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That Suits Him: Special Guest Host Named For This Weekend’s WWE Payback

At Forbidden Door on June 25, Bryan Danielson suffered a broken arm during his main event match against Kazuchika Okada. Danielson has been out of action since and it has not been clear how long before he will be able to return to the ring. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Danielson may be able to return by October 1 for WrestleDream. The show is set for Danielson’s home state of Washington, though there is no guarantee that Danielson will be cleared in time.

Danielson is an absolute star in AEW. Check out what he can do there:

Opinion: This is some good news, but at the same time it might be wishful thinking. Danielson had a serious injury and you don’t want to rush him back into the ring where things could be stretched out even longer. Danielson is one of the biggest names that AEW has and at this stage of his career, he won’t be in the ring all that often. AEW needs to find out how to optimize the time he has left and that isn’t going to work if his arm is banged up again.

What do you think of Danielson’s AEW run? Who do you want him to face next? Let us know in the comments below.
