It can happen to anyone. Injuries are one of the worst things that can take place in wrestling as they can put someone on the shelf almost immediately and leave them out of action for a rather long time. On the other hand, you will occasionally see a wrestler get injured and manage to work through it, which seems to be the case again with a current champion.

Ring Of Honor Six Man Tag Team Champion and AEW star Brian Cage has revealed that he is wrestling with a torn lat muscle. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cage suffered the injury when being German superplex by Trent Beretta during a four way match last week on Dynamite. There is no word on if Cage will take time off to recover, though he and the Gates of Agony are scheduled to defend their titles against Lance Archer and the Righteous this weekend on Collision.

Cage is a monster. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: This is something that happens every so often and it is a shame to see it happen to cage. It would not surprise me to see the injury result in a last minute title change, which might be necessary for Cage to be out of the ring. For now, hopefully Cage can get better sooner than later, as you never know how long this could keep him on the injured list, which is never good.

What do you think of Cage? Is he better on his own or as part of a team? Let us know in the comments below.
