What could have been. We are just over a month away from WrestleMania 40 and that means a good chunk of the card is already set. The show’s main events are either already set or most of the way set, but there are several matches that still need to be set. This includes multiple title matches, and now we have an idea of what one such match was talked about being.

According to a Q&A with Fightful Select, WWE had planned for LA Knight to face Logan Paul at WrestleMania, possibly for the United States Title. However, the match was never set in stone but there is still a chance that it could take place. Knight and Paul are both set to compete in the Elimination Chamber for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship next weekend.

This could be awesome. Check out some of the two together and apart:

Opinion: This is a way that makes sense as the two of them have traded barbs before and having them do something at the biggest show of the year would be a good way to go. Knight has to win a title at some point and having him take the US Title from Paul would be a good way to go. Granted that might not be the way things go, but it’s certainly an interesting idea.
