He’s one of the only ones left. Whether you like them or not, the WWE shows in Saudi Arabia are not going away. They bring in millions of dollars each and that seems to be enough to make up for the negative publicity that they bring WWE. The shows include appearances from a lot of legends who aren’t around the main shows very often, and that may be the case again this time.

During this Sunday’s Royal Rumble, the next Saudi Arabian show was announced, with WWE confirming Super Showdown for February 27. This is the first time that WWE will be running such an event in February and it comes just two days before AEW’s next pay per view. Therefore, some big names are going to be needed and WWE may have one in mind already.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of Ringsidenews.com, Sting is rumored to be a major part of the upcoming Super Showdown event, though it is not clear if he will be wrestling on the show. Sting announced his retirement in 2016 as he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. His last match came at Night Of Champions 2015, during which Sting suffered a neck injury.

Sting has quite the legacy. Check out some of his WWE moments:

Opinion: I really need to know more about this as I can go with Sting doing something at the show, but I don’t need to see a 60 year old with neck problems getting in the ring. I know it’s a major payday and that’s hard to turn down, but it’s not like Sting was doing much good during his final few matches. It’s ok to let him do something else, as just being there alone means something.
