Who? WWE’s Unique Way Of Removing Vince McMahon From WWE2K24

That’s one way of dealing with him. There have been all kinds of changes to WWE this year and the biggest of them all has been the resignation of Vince McMahon. Following about forty years or running WWE, McMahon stepped down following a string of allegations against him. That has led to McMahon being nearly removed from WWE history, and now we are seeing that taking place again.

WWE2K24 was released this week and according to Fightful, McMahon’s face has been blurred in the majority of the game’s cut scenes. McMahon does appear as normal in at least one mode, appearing unblurred in the Rock vs. Steve Austin WrestleMania Showcase. There is no word on if McMahon appears anywhere else in the game. He is not a playable character.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE almost has to do, as they do not want to be associated with McMahon in any way. That is almost hard to fathom after McMahon was such an important part of WWE for so long but there is not much else that can be done. WWE has no reason to want to be associated with McMahon anymore and that on display with this move.
