What Are WWE’s Top Ten Matches of the Year So Far?

Who ya got? 2017 has been a great year for in-ring performances with some excellent matches around the world. While New Japan has probably led the way in top matches, WWE has hardly been left out in the cold. We’re halfway through the year already and that means it’s time to look back at the first six months.

WWE.com has released a list of its top ten matches of the first six months of the year. The list is actually heavily populated by matches on regular TV instead of pay per view matches. NXT had a strong showing on the list as well with the top two spots on the list. Here’s the top ten:

Opinion: I was a big surprised by Styles vs. Cena being in third instead of second but there’s nothing touching that Bate vs. Dunne match, at least not in WWE. Those two tore the crowd apart in front of one of the hottest towns in the country and they put on a performance for the ages.
