Who did it first? Over the weekend, the WWE aired the United Kingdom Championship Tournament featuring sixteen wrestlers from around the UK. One such wrestler was H.C. Dyer who lost in the first round but wound up causing a bit of an uproar on Twitter which might be little more than a misunderstanding.

During his match, Dyer used a Blue Thunder Bomb, which was mentioned on the tournament’s Twitter feed:

Sami Zayn responded by saying:

While it seemed that Zayn meant the move should be called Dyer’s version of the move instead of copying it from him, Tyson Kidd seemed to miss the point:

This really does seem like a misunderstanding and that’s going to happen from time to time. I doubt Zayn was insinuating he invented the Blue Thunder Bomb and I think Kidd just missed the point of what Zayn was saying. Both guys are students of the wrestling game and I’m sure a quick direct message will solve any problem that might be here.

Do you think Kidd will ever be back in WWE? What did you think of the tournament? Let us know in the comments below.
