That’s where we’re going. Tournaments are an easy concept in wrestling as anyone can get the idea. You can put however many wrestlers you want out there and hold up a prize, often a championship, and the winner gets said prize. That’s the kind of thing you see often in wrestling and you are going to be seeing it again in the future. It just might not be what you thought it was going to be.
According to Fightful.com, WWE has filed a trademark application for “Queen’s Crown Tournament”. There is no word on who will enter the tournament or how many entrants there will be.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that feels important, but what matters more than anything else is that doesn’t feel like a big surprise. Having a women’s version of the King of the Ring feels like something normal for WWE these days and it is cool that we have reached that point. I’m not sure why this has not taken place before, as it is certainly thing kind of thing that could have been used for years before.
What do you think of the tournament? Who do you have winning? Let us know in the comments below.
