So much for that one. On last night’s episode of “Talking Smack”, Heath Slater and Rhyno got into an argument over their recent losses to the Wyatt Family. Rhyno said he was the only one in the ring tonight while Slater said it was Rhyno who took the pin that gave the Wyatts the titles in the first place. Rhyno stormed off the set to end the show with Slater saying they needed to talk.

Slater and Rhyno aren’t having the best of luck lately as they’ve been defeated by the Wyatt Family twice in the span of two days. Neither match was exactly close with the Wyatts winning in less than six minutes on Sunday and just over nine on Tuesday. Both matches ended with an RKO with neither Slater nor Rhyno getting in any significant offense.

This isn’t the biggest surprise as the team never really felt like a long term option. They did exactly what they were supposed to do and then dropped the titles to a bigger act. Other than helping to keep the tag division stocked, there’s little need to keep them around. The Wyatts easily defeated them twice so there’s not much of a reason to watch them fight for the titles again, at least not for a long time.
