WWE Has Very Specific Plans For Future Developmental Wrestlers

That’s a specific way to go. WWE has a lot of things going on in their company at any given time but what matters most is the wrestlers themselves. With so many wrestlers moving one way and another, at some point there have to be some fresh stars brought in. It seems WWE has a rather specific plan for one group of wrestlers and it might not exactly go well for everyone.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is looking for “pretty gymnasts” as the future of its women’s division. There is no word on if WWE is interested in any other kinds of athletes, including former wrestlers. WWE has brought in former gymnasts before, including Tiffany Stratton in NXT. It is not clear when WWE changed its philosophy to the current plans.

Opinion: This is the one of those situations where WWE will probably change their mind again relatively soon. They will occasionally pick a new group of wrestlers and go with them over and over before shifting to something else. Odds are that is what will be happening at some point in the future, but for now it is all about one group of stars, at least until WWE wants something else.
