No more? The last few weeks have seen a string of huge stories coming in one after another, but the biggest of them all is the lawsuit against Vince McMahon, alleging a string of sexual abuse and even trafficking a former WWE employee for sex. That is not something that is going to be taken lightly and now we are getting an idea of what WWE is doing about the situation.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there was no mention of McMahon over Royal Rumble weekend, either on the shows themselves or at the post Royal Rumble press conference. While McMahon was referenced, he was not specifically named. This is in contract to the time when McMahon left the company last year amid allegations of sexual misconduct. When McMahon left the first time, WWE acknowledged his departure and even praised him. There is no word on how long WWE plans to go on without mentioning McMahon.

Opinion: I’m not sure WWE has any other real option in this kind of a situation as McMahon is accused of some incredibly serious things. McMahon has already walked away from WWE and there is little reason to believe that he is going to be mentioned anytime soon. I’m not sure how you can bring him up again, which is going to make the company’s history a rather tricky situation.
