That’s a big step. WWE is a huge company and has been around for a very long time now. That means the company has featured a lot of wrestlers over the years, some of which are more memorable than others. The one thing that all of them have in common though is that they put their body on the line every time they are in the ring. Some of them have been injured, but their legal recourse against WWE is being shut down.

According to PWInsider.com, the United States Supreme Court has declined to take up a class action lawsuit against WWE over wrestlers’ concussions. As a result of the decision, the case is completely over, save for finding out how much money WWE will receive in restitution. The lawsuit, filed by Konstantine Kyros, has been working its way through the courts for years now and includes wrestlers such as Jimmy Snuka, Paul Orndorff, Mr. Fuji and many more. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt spoke to the Associated Press, saying that WWE is glad the issue is over and that WWE was completely vindicated.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to help WWE in the long run as they do not have to worry about something like this any longer. The lawsuit was always a bit of a stretch in the first place and it is not exactly surprising to see the whole thing thrown out as a result. I have no idea how much Kyros pushed this idea on some of the wrestlers, but at the same time it was not exactly something that was going to go anywhere. At least it is over now though, as probably should have been the case a long time ago.

What does this mean for WWE? Did the lawsuit have any merit? Let us know in the comments below.
