Get it on the books. Having the right name is one of the most important things a wrestler can do. If someone gets stuck with a name that does not work for them for one reason or another, it can almost ruin anything that they are going to be able to do. This holds up for both singles wrestlers and tag teams, and now a new NXT pairing might have a rather specific name of their own.

According to Sportskeeda.com, WWE has filed a trademark for the team name “In-Dex”. While not confirmed, this would seem to be for the combination of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis, who have been paired together in NXT. Hartwell has a crush on Lumis, who carried her away from the ring during an eight person tag earlier this month. Lumis has seemed to show feelings for Hartwell, but has still said nothing.

Hartwell’s feelings for Lumis have also caused a riff in the Way, as the rest of the team, including Johnny Gargano in particular, do not care for Lumis. This comes after Hartwell left an eight person tag with Lumis, leaving her team down a member. The Way has continued to try and get rid of Hartwell’s feelings for Lumis, who has been tormenting the team for several months now.

Opinion: While I’ve never been a fan of combining two names to make one like this, these two do kind of have the perfect names to make this work. I’m not sure where the pairing is going, but at least NXT has something for them. Bringing more emotion and direction to Lumis is a good idea as well, as he has not exactly done anything in those areas for a long time now. This might not have much of a shelf life, but anything is better than nothing at this point.

What do you think of the name? Where will the team go? Let us know in the comments below.
