Get used to him. There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and several of them are in different places after the recent Draft. The event shook things up all over the place and in some cases it gave people a fresh start, either on a new brand or against new opponents. That was a big help for some people and in once case, it might be the start of a rather nice step in their career.

One of the bigger surprises during the Draft was the return of Elias, who had been out of action for five months with a torn pectoral muscle. Elias returned on the Monday Night Raw night of the Draft and attacked Jeff Hardy, which has set up a match with Hardy at Hell In A Cell. This comes just before Elias is scheduled to release an album next week. It also might play a role in something a little bit bigger.

According to Inside The Ropes, Elias will be a fixture on Monday Night Raw and presented as one of the bigger stars on the show. Part of the reason for his move to Monday Night Raw was to allow him for the occasional music performance, such as the one that he had on this week’s show. There is no word on what is next for Elias after his feud with Hardy continues, though Elias has accused Hardy of being the driver who hit him with a car in May to put him off of television. Hardy has denied this and commentary continues to state that the driver is at large.

You might need to get used to this. Check out Elias’ concert:

Opinion: I’m curious about how this is going to work, as Elias is, pun intended, a bit of a one note character. The guitar playing and singing is a good idea but it is what he has done for a good while now. That can work out for a long time, though I’m not sure if it is going to be enough to be one of the bigger stars on the show. Maybe that can change, and it might have to.
