The situation is changing. One of the biggest wrestling stories of the year has been the WWE Network moving to Peacock. The move was a huge move for WWE as the company is getting a billion dollars over five years and just supplying content, as tends to be the case most of the time. The move has not exactly gone the best for fans, but now things might be changing a bit faster.
There have been a variety of issues with Peacock’s launch, including a majority of the content not being available, editing out various segments due to objectionable moments and more. The content that is there works out well enough, but there is a lack of of control for the fans as they watch live events. That is a bit of a problem, but now it might be solved sooner than expected.
According to Wrestlingnews.co, Peacock’s customer service has said that various controls for live streaming, including being able to restart a live broadcast, will be available as soon as Saturday. However, this will only be available for iOS and tvOS devices. There is no word on when the same features will be made available for other devices. Peacock is also working to add in thumbnail previews for all content.
You might need to rewind on some other moments for WrestleMania. Check out some of its best moments worth seeing again:
Opinion: This is some good news, as the content and upgrades are coming sooner than expected. Things did not exactly get off to a great start, but at least Peacock is making the changes that they need. I would have preferred that they had these things ready to go at the start, but it is great to see them fixing the issues as they come up. Now just keep fixing things until it is better all around.
