Kind of an important detail. As you have probably heard, WWE is back on the road for the first time in over fifteen months. That is a great change of pace for WWE and it is already feeling like something more important. WWE has needed to hit the ground running after their time in Florida and now they are going elsewhere. We might even know where one of their most important shows is going.
According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Wrestling Podcast, this year’s Survivor Series is expected to take place at the Barclay’s Center in New York City, New York. WWE has yet to announce the location of the show or any matches for the card. As previously reported, the Rock is rumored to be appearing at the event. This would be the fourth time the event would be held in New York, following 1996, 2002 and 2011.

Survivor Series is one of the big ones. Check out what has happened when the show has come to New York over the years:
Opinion: This is one of those things that should not be all that surprising. WWE tends to go to the big cities and New York would certainly qualify. The Barclay’s Center may not have the same heritage as Madison Square Garden but it is certainly worthy of a major pay per view. Survivor Series is often an important show and it should be nice to have it take place at a major location again.
What do you expect from the show? What will headline the card? Let us know in the comments below.
