You need to start fresh. Summerslam is coming up in about two months and this time around, the show is going to be even bigger than usual. With WWE just coming out of the Coronavirus situation and fans being allowed back on a big scale, it is time to start putting together a major card. WWE is already on that, and now they might have a pretty cool match planned.
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE is planning to have Set Rollins face Edge at Summerslam. The match has not yet been set up, though Edge has been advertised to return to WWE TV on the July 16 SmackDown. This will be Edge’s first appearance since he lost in the main event of WrestleMania 37. Rollins has recently been feuding with Cesaro, who he defeated at Hell In A Cell. This would be the first time Edge and Rollins have ever faced each other one on one.
Edge came out of retirement at the 2020 Royal Rumble following nearly nine years away from the ring. He would enter a feud with Randy Orton, defeating him at WrestleMania 36 but losing to him at Backlash 2020, during which he would suffer a torn tricep. Edge would return again during the 2021 Royal Rumble and win the match, eliminating Rollins in the process, to earn his WrestleMania title shot.
Along w/ Roman Reigns vs John Cena for SummerSlam, WWE is planning on stacking the SmackDown side with another major matchup. Source says idea as of now is for a Seth Rollins vs Edge first time ever match.

This could be interesting. Check out what we could be seeing at Summerslam:
Opinion: Now this is the kind of match that they would be smart to run at Summerslam as it really does feel like something special. This pretty much does qualify as a dream match, or at leas a match you did not think you would ever get to see would be appropriate. This is the kind of thing I was hoping for when Edge returned and it’s a bit more interesting than having him face Orton over and over.
Do you like the match? How do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
