WWE Reportedly Planning Main Roster Callup For Another Former NXT Champion

She’s on the way. WWE has a variety of stars on its roster, to the point where they are able to put several stars in their NXT developmental brand. NXT stars are often on the way up to the next level and it can be a huge moment when you see something like that happen. While it has not happened just yet, it seems that we are on the way to seeing another call up.

Over the weekend at the Royal Rumble, NXT’s Roxanne Perez set a new longevity record in the Women’s Royal Rumble. According to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, Perez has been considered for a main roster call up since earlier this year. However, it is not clear when exactly the promotion will take place. Perez has wrestled multiple main roster matches without being called up.

Opinion: This is not the biggest surprise as Perez has been a big deal in NXT for a rather long time now. It makes sense that WWE would want her on the main roster, as she is more than good enough to warrant such a spot. At the end of the day, she has more than enough talent and that should overcome her rather small stature, which is the only thing holding her back.
