WWE Reportedly Interested In AEW's Malakai Black, When He Could Return

They’re interested. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster but like any other wrestling promotion, the company is always going to want to try to bolster its roster with fresh talent. This might be stars who have never been around before but also possibly wrestlers who are coming back to the promotion. The latter might be the case again, as someone has caught WWE’s eye.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Malakai Black was finishing up with AEW, meaning that he would be free to sign with another promotion when his contract expired. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been interest from WWE in bringing Black back to the company. There is no word on if Black is returning to WWE. According to PWInsider.com, while Black is done with AEW, he is still under contract with them through either the end of February or March.

Opinion: I don’t think it’s any surprise that WWE would be interested in someone as talented as Black. His time with WWE only went so well in the first place, though WWE being under new management should make things that much more interesting. For now, we still have some time to wait and now we are going to get to see how all of this falls out from here.
