WWE Reportedly Had Specific Plans For Recently Released Superstar

They had a plan. There are all kinds of characters and angles in wrestling, some of which are far more successful than others. Occasionally you will see something that doesn’t make a ton of sense and fails for one reason or another. However, there are some ideas that never actually make it in front of the fans’ eyes and now we have a better idea of what was going to happen.

Last week, WWE released Blair Davenport from her contract, ending her time with the company. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, there were plans for Davenport to join Chelsea Green and Piper Niven prior to the release. This went all he way to having a Secret Service costume made for Davenport, which would have tied into the idea of Niven being Green’s head of security. There is no word on why the plan was dropped or if someone else will take Davenport’s place.

Opinion: I’m not sure why WWE changed their mind at the last second but that is certainly what appears to have happened. For some reason, it was cut off at the last second and that is a shame as Davenport was never really given the chance to see what she could do in the spot. Davenport is talented, but we might be seeing someone else getting the spot instead, which could be worth seeing.
