WWE Planning Especially Violent Match For Extreme Rules

That’s a bit extreme. We are less than two weeks away from Extreme Rules 2020 and that could mean a lot of different things. With so little time left to get ready, it is time to finish setting things up on the way there. You can probably guess what is coming from where we already are and that can make for some interesting guesses. In this case, one match is going to be a little hard to see for one person involved.

One of the biggest stories taking place on Monday Night Raw in recent weeks has been between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio. Rollins has decided that Mysterio needs to be sacrificed for the greater good of Monday Night Raw and took out Mysterio’s eye to prove a point. Mysterio is back, with his son Dominick saying that it will be “an eye for an eye”. Now we know what that may mean.

According to F4WOnline.com, Mysterio and Rollins are going to be facing off in an Eye For An Eye match at Extreme Rules, with the match ending when one person takes out the other’s eye. There is no word on how graphic the match will be allowed to be. The match has yet to be confirmed by WWE. Mysterio has not wrestled since the May 11 Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This sounds a little different than most WWE matches, which might be what the match needs. I haven’t been a big fan of what WWE has been doing with them so far as the feud just hasn’t clicked yet. I’m not sure if this kind of a match is the answer to its problems, but it is certainly something different enough to make me wonder how much better the feud could get.
