That is going to get them in some trouble. It can be rather interesting to see a new star debut on WWE television, even if they have been on another show before. That can make for some fun situations as you do not know how the new star is going to be received. However, that might not be the best thing in the world in some situations, which seems to be the case this time around.
This week on Monday Night Raw, NXT UK’s Piper Niven made her debut, wrestling in Eva Marie’s place to defeat Naomi in less than a minute. Niven has wrestled for NXT UK since 2017, following an appearance in the Mae Young Classic. She was not given a name and commentary did not recognize her, but it seems that someone has some problems with Niven already.
Since Niven’s debut, various fans have posted messages to Twitter, many of which have been critical of Niven’s size and weight. Various WWE and NXT stars have responded as well, criticizing fans for making such comments. Niven herself has responded as well, saying that successful big people are treated this way because others believe that success is for “perfect people”. Niven also said that she does not care about such comments.
Successful big people are often met with this because we remind people of their own shortcomings, they want to believe that success is only for the “perfect people” and that’s why they didn’t achieve their dreams and we prove them wrong.
Don’t even worry about them, I don’t. ? https://t.co/IwUWkGlCaQ— Kim Piper Benson (@PiperNivenWWE) June 16, 2021
The body shaming is disgusting. Y’all bold behind the screens. It costs nothing to be kind.

This happens to me every time I'm on screen, don't worry about the haters … they can stay hating, we keep shining. https://t.co/quJIhERO0n

Bet they can’t be a champion in the WWE and be able to put a dude through a wall. You’re the man.

Niven’s debut was pretty awesome. Check out her Monday Night Raw match and some of her time elsewhere:
Opinion: It’s rather horrible to see something like this as it doesn’t help anyone or anything and comes off as cruel. WWE certainly thinks something of Niven and she did well in her Monday Night Raw debut. The character and skill work out well for her and I’m curious to see where it is. As Mia Yim said, it doesn’t cost anything to be polite so why say something like this in the first place?
What did you think of Niven’s debut? How far can she go on Monday Night Raw? Let us know in the comments below.
