Not on our show you don’t. The Coronavirus has had a huge impact on the way WWE has worked this year. There are only so many ways that the company can keep things operating as usual during the pandemic and that is going to cause a lot of changes to take place. Some of these changes are various things not being around, and that will be the case during the build to a major show.
We are coming up on Survivor Series in November and that means things are going to start getting interesting in a hurry. Last year’s event was quite the show with a three way battle for brand supremacy between Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT. One of the best parts was the shows attacking each other, but we won’t be seeing that this year and for a very good reason.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there will be no invasions from one show to another this year for the sake of keeping the rosters separate. This way, if one of the rosters is infected, it will not spread over to the other show and cause more infections or chaos for WWE. This is also why NXT has not been included, as the Performance Center has been the main hot spot for the Coronavirus outbreaks.
It was a great build. Check out how the invasions can work:
Opinion: I can understand something like this and that’s the kind of thing that is going to have to happen. Granted this year isn’t the worst choice to leave NXT out as they aren’t the strongest at the moment. Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown is going to be fine enough as it almost always is, so hopefully what we get will work out as well as it possibly can and everyone can stay safe.
