It’s nice to hear something positive. Just like a lot of other companies around the world, WWE is undergoing a lot of problems at the moment. With the spread of the Coronavirus, there is only so much that can be done to keep things at a normal level. That doesn’t make things much better, but it is nice when you see something that is remotely normal or positive. WWE got such news on Tuesday.

If there is one thing that WWE does well, it is pump out content. It feels like you can’t go more than a few minutes without seeing something new from WWE. They know how to throw out a lot of material and get people to watch, which is where the WWE Network comes into play. The Network gives WWE a place to air a lot of their footage and they are taking full advantage of it, with some rather positive results.

WWE has announced that the company has been nominated for five Webby Awards for 2020. The following shows have been nominated in the following categories:

Podcast: Sports – After The Bell – November 27, 2019 Episode

Social: Sports – WWE’s Instagram

Video: Unscripted – Table For 3: Little Big Appetite

Video: Reality – WWE 365: Alexa Bliss

Video: Reality – The Bella Twins’ YouTube Channel

The Webby Awards have been presented since 1997 and are described as “the internet’s highest honor”. Fans can vote on the awards until May 7 with the winners being announced on May 19. There will be no ceremony this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The shows all worked well. Check out a bit of the nominees:

Opinion: These might not be the most prestigious awards in the world but it’s better than nothing. At least WWE can have something positive to brag about as it’s not like they have much going on anywhere else. The videos and series that the company produces are indeed some of the better things that they present and it’s no surprise that they are receiving recognition for them.

Will WWE win any awards? What is the best of these nominees? Let us know in the comments below.
