That could have been worse. Every now and then, WWE will run an angle that certainly gets your attention. It may be in a good or bad way, but something happens that you instantly remember because it is something you can’t get out of your head, at least for the time being. That was the case at the end of this week’s Monday Night Raw and now we know a bit more about where things are going.

One of the biggest angles going on Monday Night Raw at the moment is Randy Orton vs. the Fiend. The two have gotten rather violent in a hurry, with Orton burning Fiend alive to get rid of him for the time being. That has not sat well with Alexa Bliss, who has suggested that the Fiend is coming back to haunt Orton again. Unto then, Bliss will deal with Orton herself, which was the case this week. Things went bad for Orton, and now we know how bad.

The big angle to close out this week’s Monday Night Raw saw Triple H agreeing to face Randy Orton. The two had a fight instead of a match, which ended out of nowhere as Alexa Bliss popped up and shot a fireball at Orton to end the show. WWE has provided an update on Orton, saying that he suffered minor burns to his face and a further update will be available on next week’s show.

It was a hot ending. Check out what Bliss did to end the show:

Opinion: Now I’m not sure where this is going, but it certainly sounds like we are going to be seeing Orton sooner rather than later. This is one of the problems of modern WWE and it keeps getting worse: they feel the need to cram everything together between pay per views rather than letting it flow naturally. Orton lit Fiend on fire and now he has been burned as well. That could be a three month story and it hasn’t even been four weeks because they need their next match at the Royal Rumble. Let things build up a bit instead of rushing through everything for a change.
