Was it so much to ask? The Coronavirus has changed a lot of things about the way wrestling promotions prevent their events and that is going to be the case for a good while to come. The changes mainly include the lack of fans as a crowd, with WWE and AEW offering the solution of wrestlers acting as fans. This has worked well enough, and now the fans are getting a slight upgrade.

The practice of having NXT wrestlers as fans at NXT events has been going on for a few television tapings now but it did not work out so well in the beginning. After the first taping, reports came out of wrestlers being told to stand the entire day, even during breaks in filming, and having to eat lunch away from the talents. The reports were not flattering, but now things have changed a bit.

According to Fightful Select, WWE has made some improvements for the NXT wrestlers at the most recent television tapings. This includes air conditioning in the tents where the wrestlers eat their lunch, allowing them to sit down during breaks in filming and bringing in food trucks to offer some extra food. There is no word on how much longer the NXT wrestlers will serve as the television audiences.

The shows went a bit differently this week. Check out how things looked:

Opinion: That’s a good bit of a relief as while the people were at work, there was no reason to have them go through all of that. Is it really too much to ask for them to be able to sit down when nothing else is going on? There is a big difference between having them work and having them go to ridiculous lengths and thankfully WWE seems to have realized that after a few weeks.

Have you liked the makeshift crowds? Was WWE being unreasonable before these changes? Let us know in the comments below.
