WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals He Has No Contract With The Company Despite Recent Appearance

Not him? There have been all kinds of stars throughout the WWE’s history, some of whom have been involved in various roles throughout the company. There are some who have very little time as active wrestlers or anything physical but they are still stars who you would have seen on a regular basis. However, in this case, one former talent is now clarifying his WWE status.

In an exchange with a fan on Twitter, former WWE performer Eric Bischoff was asked about his status with WWE. Bischoff clarified that he currently does not have any kind of a deal with WWE, including a Legends deal. He also said that he received royalties when WWE uses his likeness, which is part of his original talent agreement. Bischoff makes occasional appearances for WWE, most recently in December for NXT.

Opinion: This is one of those things that makes for an interesting situation, as it shows you that WWE can bring in some people for a one off appearance every so often. That appears to be what we saw with Bischoff in December as he was brought in for a one off appearance. WWE can bring in just about anyone out there that they want and that opens up quite a few more options.
