That could be serious. There are all kinds of injuries and health issues that can keep wrestlers out of the ring. It might be something short term that means they won’t be missing a lot of time, but there are other more serious situations that keep someone on the shelf for a long time. Then there are situations that happen to wrestlers through no fault of their own, which seems to be the case again.
In a new post to Instagram, WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus has revealed that she was forced to undergo appendectomy surgery over the weekend. Stratus said that she had been dealing with a series of pain in her side and realized that something was wrong. She has since had her appendix removed and will be fine. Stratus recently appeared on Monday Night Raw as a special guest last month.
She seems in good spirits. Check out Stratus’ announcement:
Opinion: That could have been a lot worse for Stratus as an appendicitis is the kind of thing that can pop up out of nowhere and do a lot of damage. The good thing is that Stratus got everything taken care of before it got a lot worse. It was great to have her back on WWE TV a few weeks ago and it would be even better to see her have one more match if she wants to down the line.
What do you think of Stratus? Will she wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
