Not everyone is into that. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world but that does not mean it is for everyone. There are a variety of wrestling fans as well as wrestlers who do not seem to like the way WWE is run these days. That can come from a lot of different directions, but a lot of it comes from the way the wrestling product is presented. That wound up being the deciding factor in a legend not sticking with the company.
Bubba Ray Dudley was a guest on Stories With Brisco And Bradshaw and discussed Vince McMahon offering him a spot as a producer with WWE. However, Dudley turned down the position because he did not want to be someone who carried orders from the WWE office to the wrestlers. Instead, Dudley wanted to try and help the wrestlers by being creative in putting together their matches. He said he would be interested in trying the job one day.
Dudley has a deep background in wrestling. Check out some of his time in the industry:
Opinion: I can’t blame Dudley for not wanting this spot, as that does not exactly seem like the kind of thing that he would be interested in doing. There is a big difference between helping to put a match together and just relaying information, so it would make sense for Dudley to want to wait a bit before trying the job. He would seem to be a good fit for it though, assuming he ever tries it out.
What do you think of Dudley’s reasoning? Who would be a good WWE producer? Let us know in the comments below.
