That’s a problem. WWE is a huge wrestling promotion and they have a lot of things going on at the same time. Above all else though is presenting a wrestling product, which can be a little more complicated than it might seem. Sometimes things are going to happen that aren’t in the original plans, and some of those can be very notable. That was the case during a major event.
During Sunday’s Extreme Rules, the show’s audio was not working as planned, with the Spanish commentary feed leaking in along with the English. This took place during the Kickoff Show match between Carmella and Liv Morgan but was corrected during the match. The problem came back during the show’s first match between New Day and the team of Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles and Omos, though this time it was the French commentary. The audio was corrected before the end of the six man tag. Commentator Pat McAfee referenced the issues later in the show.
You might be able to notice. Check out the two matches where this happened, plus what the Spanish commentary team is best known for:
Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen from time to time, but it doesn’t make things any less annoying. There was a point where you could not hear what Carmella was saying or the English commentary, which can create quite the problem. The international commentators were doing their jobs, but it was still a rather pesky situation to deal with for awhile.
