That’s quite the honor. The Women’s Revolution has completely taken hold in the WWE and the women’s divisions have gotten that much better as a result. The divisions have come a very long way in just a few years and you can see the changes continuing. That is the case with several prominent names in WWE today, and one of them has received a rather nice honor.
Bayley has held the SmackDown Women’s Title for over a year now, and aside from a five day Charlotte reign, has held it since May 2019. She has more than doubled the longest title reign in the title’s history and is rapidly closing in on Becky Lynch’s modern day record for longest reign of any main roster women’s champion. That is an amazing accomplishment and now someone outside of WWE is recognizing her success.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated has announced that Bayley has been named #1 on their annual Women’s 100 list. This marks the first time that Bayley has been ranked #1 and her third time in the top five. WWE held the top five spots on the list, with Becky Lynch, Asuka, Charlotte and Sasha Banks following Bayley in descending order. The list ranks the top 100 female wrestlers in the world and has been issued since 2018, with a top 50 list being released from 2008-2017.

I’d brag about it. Check out some of Bayley’s best moments:
Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised as Bayley has literally been champion for over a year at this point. That is quite the accomplishment no matter who you are or which title you have. Bayley has gone from the goofy adorable star to a rather serious and dominant heel. Her story with Sasha Banks could make for a heck of a blowoff and I’m curious to see how long her reign lasts.
What do you think of Bayley? How long will she hold the title? Let us know in the comments below.
