You have to be careful. Things are going a little nuts in WWE at the moment as they can only do so much in their current situation. WWE has to try and figure out a way to keep their television shows going with wrestlers either being forced to miss tapings or taking time away due to the Coronavirus. As a result, WWE has been trying to get in the material that they can, though that might be changing soon.

Back in June, WWE presented its Backlash pay per view, which offered some major matches and showdowns after several weeks of build on television. Things moved on after the show was over, but the following television show had been taped before most of Backlash aired live. That is outside the norm in WWE and now WWE seems ready to move back to their normal way of doing things.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will not be taping the followup television shows to Summerslam before Summerslam takes place. They are worried about having something go wrong with their live pay per view that could mess with what they are going to be doing on television. It is not clear if or when another wrestler might miss a taping, or if an injury could take place as it did in Edge’s case at Backlash.

You need to be ready for Summerslam. Check out some of its greatest moments:

Opinion: It makes sense for WWE to change things up in a way as there are only so many ways to change things if something comes up. WWE does not have their usual amount of disposable television time at the moment and it makes sense to let them squeeze things together where they can. You don’t want to mess with a live pay per view though, especially one where they don’t have much room to spare on quality.
