They’re at it too. We are just over five weeks away from WrestleMania 37 and that means it is the busiest season of WWE’s year. The company is going to be pushing the event in every way that they can because it is going to bring them a fortune. Some of those things are going to be a bit more standard that others but this time there is something related to WrestleMania that we haven’t seen before.
WWE has announced that both Snickers and WWE2K22 will be sponsoring this year’s WrestleMania 38. This will mark the first time that WrestleMania has had two major Presenting Partners. As a result, the two sponsors’ Twitter accounts have entered into a feud, with both companies using various “nut” related puns as a play on the peanuts in Snickers bars. Here are some of what has been said.
WAIT – we have to share a ring with these guys??

? We heard you were NUT-torious for acting in such a way! Proves to be true. Sad you will have to watch in the stands as we takeover at #WrestleMania 38!

THE AUDACITY TO USE THE WORD NUT-torious! That’s actually pretty clever!
We are not going down without a rumble!

Wait, we have to share the spotlight with these CANDY a$$es?! ??
It’s okay @SNICKERS, we need someone to carry our towels and water bottle to #WrestleMania 38. ? https://t.co/YdcgFzbktP

Opinion: This is one of those things that is little more than goofy fun and there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you need something to just be good for a chuckle and a video game feuding with a candy bar over who gets to sponsor a wrestling event is right up there. If nothing else, it is a lot more memorable than hearing some easy corporate statement that was written by someone with no sense of humor.
