Consider it hope. Wrestling has changed in a big way due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus and that is the kind of thing that you never could plan. At the moment, it is not clear how long it is going to take for everything to get back to normal, and that is the kind of thing that could be rather scary for a long time. Now though, WWE might have a glimmer of hope.

As you may have noticed, one of the first major changes involving the spread of the virus has been the halting of almost all sporting events. This has included wrestling, with only the major weekly television shows continuing, albeit with no fans in attendance. A lot of shows have been canceled, but at the same time, things will change for the better one day. WWE is already planning for the future.

According to the official Madison Square Garden website, a WWE live event originally scheduled for March 22 has been rescheduled for Saturday June 27. All tickets for the original date will be honored. At the moment, it is not clear if New York state will have lifted its ban on events of more than five hundred people gathering in one place. This is currently the only WWE date that has been rescheduled.

WWE has a bit of a history in the building. Check out some moments taking place there:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think of this but there is a good reason to believe that the event won’t happen. Maybe it will take place though and that would be a great thing to look forward to if nothing else. Right now what a lot of people are looking for is just a bit of normalcy, and having WWE getting to run an event would go a long way towards bringing things back a bit.

Do you think the event will go forward? Should WWE have announced something like this? Let us know in the comments below.
